KINGSTON CEMETERY EXTENSION: the records of burials in the extension, across the road to the old cemetery, have now been copied with a view to including them on our database. These burials began in the 1950’s so may be more relevant for many people today.

KINGSTON OLD CEMETERY: the “Friends” have been carrying out a steady programme of clearance in parts of the cemetery overgrown with greenery such as rhododendrons. Peter Lloyd and John Fisher are to be thanked for their efforts, which are resulting in the re-emergence of many hitherto unreachable and hidden gravestones. We will soon be repairing the bench on the paved area near the entrance.
